I gave my maid of six years an extended break but the plan was to have a temporary maid while she was away. That never materialized so not wanting to live in a sorry state of affairs and with no clean clothes, I got to work … in my own home. Being maidless for two months is no joke. I salute ALL mothers who handle kids, family, housework and a job on a daily basis, without a maid. The work NEVER ends!
Dressage mare Blue Hors Matine, whose dressage freestyle at the 2006 World Equestrian Games in Aachen became an Internet video sensation, was euthanized after breaking a leg in a paddock accident, Horse and Hound reported.
The 13-year-old Dutch mare was ridden by Andreas Helgstrand. She was retired from competition following a tendon injury at the Las Vegas World Cup in 2007.

I said good bye to Tok Teh yesterday, she was my grandmother on my dad’s side and she was 94 years old, two months short of turning 95. She was the only grandmother I had ever known. She was a quiet soft-spoken person and I am sad she has passed on.

My last entry was April?! Time really flies by especially when one is busy moving house and starting on a new job - full time! So am now learning to juggle my time between setting up our new home and making Zack’s Tack the best polo and equestrian shop in town. Multi-tasking should be a job on its own really.
