Ten years ago I was nursing a shattered ankle. I had just had 13 screws and a plate put into my leg. Lying in bed for most of the day, I had a lot of time to write. One of my first articles was “Screwed”. Published it on this new website that Natasha and I started: Equestrian.Com.My.
Most of you will have seen a 6-Bar? I don’t mean a pub crawl but the showjumping class.
It’s where they have 6 fences in a straight line, set 2 strides apart. There was one held recently at the STC Equestrian Championships. It is quite something to watch as the height of the last fence gets raised with each subsequent round. An exhilarating competition for spectators and riders alike.
Just a few days ago I was proudly stating to a friend of mine that Malaysia has come a long way as a house country. “Look at how many horse floats you see on the roads every day,” I said.
This is NOT what I meant.
