Paul Weier has sent the following message out to all FEI Stewards General. Equestrian.Com.My believes it should be published for all to see. Paul Weier has been hugely influential in South East Asia as a course designer and as the FEI's Honorary Steward General. His influence in stewarding is felt at every show we participate in.
He has decided not to go to London to accept the Special Award that the FEI wishes to present to him at the General Assembly.
Equestrian.Com.My send Mr Weier our best wishes, and our thanks for his incredible help and influence through all these years.
Message to all FEI STEWARDS GENERAL
Dear
On the eve of Christmas 2004 I was informed by the FEI office in Lausanne that I would be retired with immediate effect from my position as Honorary Steward General after holding the position for almost the last 20 years.
Since its introduction all that time ago, the worldwide stewarding programme has developed enormously, thanks also in great part to your dedication and hard work both as FEI Chief Stewards and, more importantly, as Stewards General for your country.
Until now I don’t have any knowledge about the future of Stewarding.
I would like to express my gratitude for all the help, support and cooperation you have given me, and wish you every success in your future with the sport, and health and happiness in your lives.
Best regards & Goodbye
Paul Weier
