From 6 to 10 April,
the FEI will host its first set of joint Technical Committee meetings. Indeed,
all FEI Technical Committees – Dressage, Eventing, Jumping, Driving, Endurance,
Vaulting, Reining, Para-Equestrian, Children, Pony Riders, Veterinary,
Medication, Athletes as well as the Tribunal – will gather in the Swiss town of
Interlaken. The hosting of these joint meetings, which is a first for the FEI,
will facilitate interaction between Committees and other members of the FEI
family in addressing both the common issues and differences.
The meetings
will be followed by a Sports Forum in plenary where the following themes will be
explored: development, modern communications in sport, three-year planning, and
youth.
We will take this opportunity to bring to your attention various
subjects of particular importance to the various disciplines.
A summary
of the Bureau meeting including the main topics discussed by the Committees will
be issued on 10 April.
