Selangor wins Sukma Dressage

The Selangor Team of Muhd Faiz Hanuar, Muhammad Anas Danial and Md Shaiful Razali powered to the team gold medal at the Sukma dressage competition.  Their cumulative score of 183.20% was just 2% more than the Wilayah Persekutuan team’s 181.20%.    Their consistent scores of 58.133% with Roman Ghost, 63.20% with  Indiana and 61.867% with WL Rhinestone Jazz respectively were enough to snatch the gold medal.

Wilayah Persekutuan had to settle for silver despite having the luxury of the dropped score.  Haris Zulkiple and Rosemary posted 60.133%, Riyana Abd Razak and Kay Lee had 58.80% and Raja Nazem Iskandar and R-Lausanne scored 62.267%.

Aamelia Termizi and D’Beethoven were the stand-outs in the first day of competition, scoring 63.60% on the way to a bronze with the Johor team.  Fariz Bazrul and Sapphire contributed a 60.533% score, while Yap Yan Yee should be very happy to have contributed with a score of 53.20%
