Nico Hoermann (GER) wins CRI ** at Kreuth, Germany
The fourth and last CRI ** in Germany this year was part of the NRHA Breeders Derby at Kreuth where eleven competitors from Germany, Austria, Russia and South Africa took part. The podium was resolutely German with Nico Hoermann clenching gold on a score of 219 riding the American Quarter Horse stallion Big Time Rooster. The two showed a very smooth ride with fine circles and spins and great stops. Alexander Ripper (GER) and Okie Jo Lil placed second (218.5), while Nina Lill and Lena Cielo Jewel third (216.5).
This is the second time in a row that Nico Hoermann takes gold at a CRI - having won the CRI at Paaren near Berlin a few weeks ago. Although when you consider that the pair were part of the German team that won team gold at the FEI European Championship 2007 at Mooslargue this is not such a surprise.
